Michael Broda & Callisto Network Joint Statement On October 10, 2022, Michael was hired as Callisto Network CEO with the main goal of funding the company over Venture Capital, advancing the Callisto Network gaming department and introducing the company to the eSports industry. On October 22, 2022, Mr. Broda announced, as CEO, that a 4 million Euros funding round was secured from a private investor. At the same time, Esports Innovation Group (EIG) cofounded by Mr. Broda, who serves as CEO, announced the completion of two crucial projects: a Web3-enabled esports platform and the world’s first gaming pass for Volkswagen-owned sports club VfL Wolfsburg, both leveraging the Callisto Network blockchain and the CallistoNFT standard capabilities. His experience and management have proved invaluable to the Callisto Network gaming team. After delivering on strategy and execution, Mr. Broda and Vladimir Vencalek, CEO & Chairman of Invictus, the parent company of Callisto Network, came to the mutual understanding that Mr. Broda’s assignment was hereby completed. Mr. Broda and Mr. Vencalek have jointly started the succession planning, looking for a new executive to scale the Company with the newly secured funding and strategy. Given his expertise and network in the gaming and eSports industry, Mr. Broda will continue to promote Callisto Network within the esports & gaming communities he interacts with. Mr. Broda leaves with great sadness and thanks the team, and especially the Callisto community, he has had the pleasure of interacting with. In a personal statement, Mr. Broda recognized the supportive and enthusiastic nature of the community.
